Dog Boarding at Roosevelt Mansion
Our boarding services give dogs a comfortable place to stay while their families are traveling, working, or away from home. We provide private kennel spaces in a climate-controlled environment, with off-the-floor bedding and room for your dog to rest comfortably.
Keeping Your Pet Comfortable
You are welcome to bring familiar items from home, such as blankets or toys, to help your dog feel more settled during their stay. We also encourage families to bring their dog’s regular food and instructions so we can help maintain their normal routine.

Reservations are required for all boarding stays, and cancellations must be made at least 1 day (24 hours) in advance for non-holiday stays, and 3 days in advance for holiday/peak stays.
Doggy Daycare
For energetic dogs who enjoy activity, play, and social time, Roosevelt Mansion offers doggy daycare. Daycare can be a great option for dogs who need exercise, enrichment, or supervised time outside the home during the day.

Please Note:
- Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
- Half-day daycare cut-off is 2:00 PM
- Half days are not available on weekends
- Weekend daycare is only included with the Unlimited Daycare Pass.
Payment is due the day of service.
Pickup is by 6:00 PM. A 15-minute grace period applies, and late pickup includes a $30 late fee. If a pet has not been picked up by 6:15 PM, an overnight stay will be applied at the owner’s expense.
Outdoor Play Areas
Roosevelt Mansion features secure fenced outdoor spaces where dogs can play and roam under supervision. Boarding and daycare dogs may enjoy group play depending on their temperament, comfort level, and safety considerations.
Our team pays attention to each dog’s needs so playtime remains enjoyable and appropriate.
Whether your pup is here for daycare or boarding, they will enjoy plenty of outdoor time, typically with 6 to 7 outings each day. Each session lasts around 20–25 minutes and includes running, playing with toys, and receiving attention from the Roosevelt Mansion staff.
Playgroups and new pairings are carefully curated based on play style, size, age, and energy level. Groups may shift throughout the day to help ensure every dog has the best possible experience. Safety is always the top priority.
Veterinary Care On Site
One of the advantages of Roosevelt Mansion is its connection to Roosevelt Veterinary Center. With a licensed veterinary clinic on the premises, pet owners can feel more at ease knowing veterinary support is close by if questions or concerns arise during their dog’s stay.
This connection also allows clients to ask about veterinary services, annual wellcare, or other care needs that may be helpful during a boarding or daycare visit.
Veterinary services during daycare or boarding are limited and subject to availability. Required services, such as vaccines or fecal testing, can only be completed before their expiration date. Overdue pets cannot be accepted into the facility. Same-day requests are not guaranteed and may include an urgent care fee, so needed services should be booked in advance. Roosevelt Mansion staff is not authorized to book medical appointments; these appointments must be made directly with the veterinary office.
Boarding & Daycare Requirements
Dogs must be up to date on all required vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo), and Bordetella, and must be flea- and tick-free. A recent negative fecal exam may also be required before boarding or daycare. Additional preventive care, such as canine influenza vaccination, may be required based on current policies. Our team can review your dog’s records and let you know what’s needed before their stay.
If a pet appears ill upon check-in, staff will not accept entry. Dogs showing signs of illness during their stay may be seen by a veterinarian at the owner’s expense or may be sent home during the day.
All new clients must complete one day of daycare before their first boarding reservation.

Roosevelt Mansion offers boarding packages designed to enhance your dog’s stay. Each package is a one-time fee paid at drop-off and includes a curated set of enrichment, comfort, and care upgrades tailored to your dog’s needs.
Unlike daily add-on services, these packages cover the entire stay.
Includes frequent nature walks, scent work sessions, daily mind stimulation toys, first one outside, private agility course, and premium treats.
Includes orthopedic bed, joint-friendly enrichment activities, extra cuddles, extra check-ins, and premium treats.
Includes bath at pick-up, blueberry facial, nail trim, teeth brushing, daily coat refresh, premium treats, and kennel upgrade.
Includes extra check-ins, consistent routine with staff, lick mats and calming enrichment, soothing music at bedtime, extra cuddles, and a ThunderVest.

Daycare passes are prepaid bundles that offer savings compared to daily rates. Passes can be used for weekday daycare and are a good option for pups who attend regularly.

Includes unlimited play, weekend daycare, priority bookings when space is available, discounts on applicable services, and a monthly bath and nail trim. Full groom is not included.
All passes must be used according to facility policies, and vaccination requirements must be kept up to date for continued participation. Passes and upgrades have their own expiration dates. Weekend daycare is not included in traditional daycare passes unless the dog has an Unlimited Membership.
VIP Daycare and Boarding
VIP Daycare and Boarding gives dogs special one-on-one time with a staff member, with the entire yard to themselves to run around and go nuts. This option is a good fit for longer periods of time and for pups who do not enjoy the company of other dogs.
Suite Upgrade
Suites are primarily reserved for larger guests, such as Great Danes, Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dogs, or any pup over 80 lbs, because they need more room than standard accommodations provide. If a dog is under 80 lbs but the owner prefers a suite, Roosevelt Mansion can accommodate that for an additional $15 per night. Suites offer a more spacious, less stressful environment with reduced visibility of other dogs coming and going.
CarePlus Boarding
CarePlus boarding is designed for dogs who need a bit more help than others. While it does not include the extra cost of medications, this boarding type may include extra check-ins, special handling, personalized needs, and extra outside time.
CarePlus boarding may be considered for dogs with mobility issues, such as arthritis, hip dysplasia, or recovery from surgery; dogs diagnosed with chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, kidney disease, or heart conditions; dogs who experience incontinence or need frequent potty breaks; and dogs who experience cognitive decline or signs of confusion or disorientation.
Grooming at Roosevelt Mansion
Roosevelt Mansion offers grooming services Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Grooming appointments tend to book quickly, so scheduling at least one week in advance is recommended.
Grooming pricing is based on dog size.

Small: 5–20 lbs, Medium: 21–50 lbs, Large: 51–75 lbs, X-Large: 76–100 lbs, and XX-Large: 100+ lbs.

Forms and Preparation

Why isn’t my friendly dog out with the other dogs?
Because Roosevelt Mansion accepts dogs of all temperaments, including dogs who prefer people over other pups, playmates cannot be guaranteed every visit. Playgroups are switched throughout the day to try to accommodate every dog. Playgroups are determined by size, energy level, age, and play style. While your dog may be social, another group may be a better match at a different time of day.
